I am a demographer and sociologist at the U.S. Census Bureau. My research examines how social and demographic change shapes inequality within and across families and how the organization of family life, in turn, contributes to the production and reproduction of social inequality. I focus particularly on how labor markets, gender norms, race and ethnicity, and public policy affect families. I received my PhD in Sociology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2024 and my bachelor's degree in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University.
My peer-reviewed work has been published in Demography, Social Forces, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Socius.Â
